THERAPY FOR THERAPISTS
As therapists, we spend so much of our time holding space for others.
We listen.
We support.
We help people make sense of their experiences.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t carry our own.
And reaching out for therapy as a therapist can feel… complicated.
🌿 Why It Can Be Hard to Reach Out
Many therapists have thought about going to therapy, but have put it off.
Not because they don’t believe in it—but because it can feel different when you’re the one in the chair.
You might wonder:
Will I be judged by another therapist?
Will they see me as a therapist instead of a person?
Shouldn’t I be able to handle this on my own?
Or maybe there’s a quieter concern…
That if you slow down and really look at what you’ve been carrying, it might feel like a lot.
So instead, you keep going.
You show up for your clients.
You hold everything together.
🌿 A Different Kind of Space
In my work with therapists, I hold one thing very intentionally:
When you come to therapy, you are not “the therapist in the room.”
You are a person.
You don’t have to have insight right away.
You don’t have to explain things perfectly.
You don’t have to stay in the role of helping or holding space.
You get to step out of that role—and simply be supported.
🌿 What We Can Work On Together
Therapists come to therapy for many of the same reasons anyone else does:
Anxiety and overthinking
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Life transitions and stress
Grief and loss
Trauma and past experiences
Relationship challenges
Boundary setting and self-worth
And sometimes, it’s simply about having a space that is yours.
🌿 My Approach
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in genuine understanding.
I aim to create a space that feels:
Non-judgmental
Collaborative
Respectful of your experience and insight
Free from assumptions
You don’t have to be “on” here.
You don’t have to get it right.
You just have to show up as you are.
🌿 A Personal Note
This work is something I feel deeply humbled by.
The therapists who choose to work with me trust me to see them not as professionals—but as people.
And that’s something I don’t take lightly.
🌿 A Gentle Invitation
If you’re a therapist who has been thinking about your own therapy, you’re not alone.
And you don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out.
If and when you feel ready, you’re welcome to connect.
It all started when…
