About Me

Nicole Turner Beardslee Counseling

Mental Health and Substance Use Counseling

Hello! My name is Nicole and I have been providing mental health and alcohol and drug counseling in the state of Nebraska since 2010. I currently maintain private practices in West Point and Norfolk, Nebraska.

I  specialize in alcohol and substance abuse evaluations and substance abuse counseling as well as the treatment of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, stress management, anger issues, grief and loss and co-dependency issues just to name a few.

I am trained in the Gottman Method of couples and marital counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and motivational interviewing among others. I select theoretical approaches based on the individual sitting in front of me rather than utilizing a one-size-fits-all method of service. I truly enjoy being a therapist and helping clients reach their goals through a client-centered, solution focused cognitive based approach.

I offer a variety of options related to billing for services. I am paneled with many insurance companies as well as being a registered provider accepting vouchers from the State of Nebraska criminal justice system, EAP programs and I am a provider with the COHMT farm crisis voucher program that offers five free sessions to those who qualify.
